‘Frames II’ is a 6x4m sprayed paint mural, located in Poblenou neigbourhood, in Barcelona. Conceived as an ephemeral mural, due to the recurring artistic vandalism of this area, various colored layers are combined to produce a vibrant background when the sunlight comes. Spring is that time that lasts briefly between winter and summer, something ephemeral, and that we remember with nostalgia for the rest of the year. The beginning of spring is not always determined by the dates of the fixed calendar. The definition of spring is related to biological indicators, the flowering of a wide range of plant species, the activities of animals, or the special smell of soil that has reached the temperature of the flowering microflora. Therefore, it varies depending on the weather and the specific time of a particular year.
‘Frames II’ és un mural de 6x4m pintat amb spray, ubicat al barri del Poblenou de Barcelona. Concebut com un mural efímer, degut al vandalisme artístic recurrent d’aquesta zona, varies capes de color són combinades amb la intenció de produir un fons vibrant amb la llum del sol. La primavera és aquell moment que dura breument entre l’hivern i l’estiu, quelcom efímer, i que recordem amb nostàlgia durant la resta de l’any. El començament de la primavera no sempre està determinat per les dates del calendari fix. La definició de la primavera es relaciona amb indicadors biològics, la florida d’una àmplia gamma d’espècies de plantes, les activitats dels animals, o l’olor especial de sòl que ha arribat a la temperatura de la microflora que floreixin. Per tant, varia segons el clima i segons el temps específic d’un any en particular.
