‘LANDSCAPE’ is a 22×2.20m mural painted in nature, on the remains of old concrete constructions in a now abandoned mining area. In order to adapt the work to the environment and the media, it was decided to create a large typeface as a statement and use an ecological, reversible and low-impact technique. The text, in negative, hides the concrete and integrates it chromatically into the autumn landscape. The pigment is red earth from the area, characterized by its coloration, mixed with water, and applied to the wall with a simple brush. The ephemerality of the proposal envisages that it will degrade over time and the earth will return to its origin.
‘LANDSCAPE’ (‘paisatge’ en anglès) és un mural de 22×2,20m pintat a la natura, sobre els vestigis d’antigues construccions de formigó d’una zona minera ara abandonada. Per tal d’adaptar l’obra al medi i als mitjants, s’optà per crear una gran tipografia a mode d’enunciat i utilitzar una tècnica ecològica, reversible, i de baix impacte. El text, en negatiu, oculta el formigó i l’integra cromàticament al paisatge de tardor. El pigment és terra vermella de la zona, caracteritzada per la seva coloració, mesclada amb aigua, i aplicada sobre el mur amb un senzill pinzell. L’efimeralitat de la proposta contempla que es degradi amb el temps i la terra torni de nou al seu orígen.
