‘Stripes’ is a 12x8m mural on the facade of an auxiliary building of a former paper factory, in the town of Flöha (Germany). The design, based on Meyers’ spectral analysis, reproduces the chromatic range and sequential format of the graphic representation made by the German physicist in 1897. The vertical stripes of color extend from side to side, respecting the proportion of the existing window space and alternating the different tones and thicknesses.
‘Stripes’ és un mural de 12x8m sobre la façana d’un edifici auxiliar d’una antiga fàbrica de paper, a la localitat de Flöha (Alemanya). El disseny, basat en l’anàlisi espectral de Meyers, reprodueix la gamma cromàtica i el format seqüencial de la representació gràfica que en va fer el físic alemany l’any 1897. Les franges verticals de color s’extenen de banda a banda, respectant la proporció del buit de les finestres existents i alternant els diferents tons i gruixos.
