‘Shoreditch’ is an urban intervention made with four spray cans of paint on a large-format metal fence, measuring 9×2.5m, located in the epicentre of urban art in the city of London. The piece is discovered when crossing the underpass under the train tracks, so that the perception goes from greater to lesser density as one gets closer. The transparency of the support allows us to see a calm, dark background, flooded with vegetation, in contrast to the walls in the foreground completely graffitied on a daily basis, photographed by groups, and absorbed in the urban maelstrom.
‘Shoreditch’ és una intervenció urbana realitzada amb quatre pots de pintura en spray sobre un tancat metàl·lic de gran format, de mides 9×2,5m, situat a l’epicentre de l’art urbà de la ciutat de Londres. La peça es descobreix al creuar el pas sota les vies del tren, de manera que la percepció passa d’una major a menor densitat a mesura que un s’hi va apropant. La transparència del suport permet divisar un rerafons calmat, obscur, inundat per la vegetació, en contrast amb els murs de primer pla totalment graffitejats a diari, fotografiats per grups, i absorvits en la voràgine urbana.
