‘Ruïnes II’ (‘ruins’ in catalan language) is an ephemeral intervention on the streets of the city of London, in the Brixton neighborhood, superimposing paper on paper in order to hack the illegally installed advertising posters. The quick action uses a white, neutral and regularized sheet to deny the reading of the content. Through an abstract geometric grid, the aim is to find a different scale of reading in the face of an overdose of advertising information and graphic overexposure.
‘Ruïnes II’ és una intervenció efímera als carrers de la ciutat de Londres, al barri de Brixton, superposant paper sobre paper per tal de hackejar els cartells publicitaris il·legalment instal·lats. L’acció ràpida utilitza un full blanc, neutre i regularitzat per negar la lectura del contingut. Mitjançant una quadrícula geomètrica abstracta, es pretén trobar una escala diferent de lectura davant una sobredosi d’informació publicitària, de reclam i desobreexposició gràfica.
