‘Eixample IV’ is a remake of a 7x3m spray-painted mural on the entrance doors to a car park located in the middle of the urban fabric of the city of Barcelona, l’Eixample. From small pieces of 10×10 cm, a mesh similar to a cartographic representation of the environment in which it is located is filled. The hue of the mural is identified with the ceramic roofs of the buildings, a material with orange tones, so typical of Mediterranean towns.
‘Eixample IV’ és una variant d’un mural de 7x3m pintat amb spray, sobre les portes d’accés a un aparcament situat enmig de la trama urbana de la ciutat de Barcelona, l’Eixample. A partir de petites peces de 10×10 cm, s’omple una malla similar a una representació cartogràfica de l’entorn on es troba. La tonalitat del mural s’identifica amb les cobertes ceràmiques dels edificis, un material amb tons ataronjats, tan típic dels pobles mediterranis.
