‘Ruïnes’ (‘Ruins’ in catalan language) is an outdoors large mural, about 9x5m, painted on the remains of an old building already demolished, in an industrial zone in Barcelona’s surroundings. Of an abstract and minimal nature, it uses a single color to trace alternating vertical stripes, which make visible the dimension and isolation of the wall in the middle of the landscape. In the background, we find traditional agricultural fields, and beyond that an F1 automobile circuit with the traditional red and white striped pianos.
‘Ruïnes’ és un mural de gran dimension, d’uns 9x5m, pintat sobre les restes d’una antiga edificació ja enderrocada en un polígon industrial del Vallès Oriental. De caire abstracte i minimalista, utilitza un sol color per a traçar franges verticals alternades, que visibilitzen la dimensió i l’aïllament del mur enmig del paisatge. De fons, hi trobem camps de conreu tradicionals, i més enllà un circuit automobilístic de F1 amb els tradicionals pianos de franges vermelles I blanques.
